Layout Ideas

  • Bible Verse Background Paper - Use the Bible verse, poem, or saying that was used during the ceremony to make a background paper. Lightly write the verse randomly all over the paper you will use for the background. A colored pencil works well for this.
  • Typed Bible Verse - Type up the verse or saying that was used during the ceremony. Print it on good quality card stock. Use a coordinating color to make a mat for the printed verse.
  • Baby's Outfit - Take a picture of the outfit baby wore during the ceremony. Cut the outfit out and use it as an embellishment on the scrapbook page. You can do the same thing with other objects from the special day, like your Bible.
  • Letter from Godparents - Ask the Godparents to write a letter to their new Godchild. Create a pocket on your scrapbook page to hold the letter from them. Put a picture of the Godparents holding their Godchild on the pocket.
