Sample baby scrapbook layouts

I created the following baby scrapbook layouts using Photoshop Elements. It was a simple page to create, but very time consuming. It took me 1 1/2 hours to create this two page layout.

I could not have done this page without my sister taking such great photos. If you are open to having someone other than your coach in the room, choose a person who will take some great pictures for you.

This layout has a ton of photos. So, I decided to go with a simple black background to keep the focus on the pictures.

The first step was putting the photos in chronological order. The photo organizer section of Photoshop Elements will display the time your photos were taken. Make sure you have the details button checked on the tool bar so you can view the time.

If you are not using Photoshop, right click on your photo and select properties. That should tell you the date and time the photo was taken.

One of the many things I love about Photoshop Elements are all the free tutorials on the web. Here is a great video that shows you how to make your digital photo look like a Polaroid picture.

This page is not intended to teach you basic Photoshop Elements skills. If you are new to Photoshop, read the article on Photoshop Elements for newbies.

After turning each picture into a "Polaroid," I spaced them evenly apart with the help of the grid.

I used the cookie cutter tool to create some hearts. I placed the hearts over parts of the picture that I wanted to hide.

I then created a white border on the page using a stroke.

After adding my title and journaling box, the page is complete.
